This place redeemed my impression of Calgary coffee. Correct sizing and texture/flavour balance. And, considering the bottom swan was made with oat milk (at no extra charge), some decent art to boot. Friendly service. Tasty almond-cashew croissant. The seating arrangement was a bit cramped and the benches were a bit uncomfortable, but those are minor things, partly due to trying to maximize seating in a narrow layout.
Stopped by two mornings in a row as I was staying across the street - the male taking my order actually remembered me (I rarely have this encounter at coffee shops)! I really appreciate the customer service and cleanliness of the shop, and the coffee is also amazing. Drove to the mountains afterwards and it was perfect
One of the best spot for a summer drink! Their coffee slushie and strawberry lemonade are out of this world! Quality control is exceptional and a chill atmosphere to enjoy the drinks! Will come back often!
I've visited this particular location of Monogram several times, and have always enjoyed the flavour of my drinks. Latte art has been on point from different baristas, and friendly service. If you're undecided on which drink to try, they will usually offer a sample when possible. Most recently, I tried their Roast Beef Sandwich and it was really tasty and toasted to perfection. Music is tasteful and played at an ambient volume, so it's perfect for working/studying or chatting with your friend/date, and entertaining if you're sipping something in contemplation. Can get really busy at peak times; otherwise a chill & relaxing atmosphere. An overall amazing place for tea/coffee, snacks, and meals.
Monogram is one of the best local coffee roasters in Calgary. This location offers more seating and space compared to their other locations. Highly recommend their condensed milk latte, London fog, and avocado toast. It’s a nice bonus they don’t charge extra for oat milk now!
What a great addition to this neighborhood! Coffee is just as awesome as other locations. Baristas are super friendly with great taste in music. Has got casual but also a bit of classy vibe. Love the interiors as well. Gets quite busy on weekends but also has a bit secluded area on the very left of the shopfront if you plan to study/work.
LET ME START OFF BY SAYING! - I flew in all the way from Toronto! (it’s my last day while I’m typing this) Victoria was amazing! Her cadence alone and coffee knowledge made the experience amazing! She deserves a lot of Recognition and applause for handling the entire barista on her own! I would definitely come back! Victoria stay awesome and passionate!
Wow! The best almond croissant I've ever had. Loaded with nuts. Buttery and crunchy! Expensive, but oh my, so worth it! Highly recommend
